Overview

The MyArchitectAI connector lets you create photorealistic architectural and interior renders right inside Claude. Ask in plain language, and Claude renders, edits, retextures, relights, animates, and upscales your designs for you.

It works in Claude on the web, desktop, and mobile.

Connect

Connecting takes about a minute and only happens once. You add MyArchitectAI to Claude as a custom connector using our server link.

Open Claude at claude.ai or in the desktop app. Once added, the connector also works in the Claude mobile app.
Go to Settings > Connectors and click Add custom connector.
Name it MyArchitectAI, paste https://mcp.myarchitectai.com/mcp as the URL, leave the advanced settings as they are, and click Add.
Click Connect, sign in with your MyArchitectAI API account (which is not related to a regular account), and click Allow.
Start a new chat, make sure MyArchitectAI is turned on in the tools menu, and ask for a render.

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector in the organization's settings first. Then each member clicks Connect and signs in with their own MyArchitectAI account.

Account and billing

The connector uses your MyArchitectAI API account at portal.myarchitectai.com. Each generation is charged in USD from your account balance, and Claude shows the cost and your remaining balance after every call.

Adding balance: sign in to the portal and top up your account with at least $5.

Ask Claude "What's my MyArchitectAI balance?" anytime. It's free.

If a call fails because of a rate limit or a temporary server error, you are not charged. For any other failure, check your request log in the portal before retrying so you don't pay twice.

Just describe what you want. Claude picks the right tool, so you don't need to know the names below.

The best results come from iterating in one chat: render, tweak materials, try a different mood, then upscale the version you like.

Inputs and outputs

Input images: share a public image link (HTTPS).
Size limit: 10 MB per request. For large files, use a link instead of an embedded image.
Text to image: 128 to 2048 px per side.
Upscale formats: JPG, WEBP, or PNG. PNG isn't available at 8K, and AVIF isn't supported.
Animation time: usually 60 to 90 seconds. Wait for it to finish before asking again.
Results: every image and video comes back as a link. Claude can preview images right in the chat, and you can open or download any result from its link. Videos open in your browser.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Fix
Renders fail with a balance error	Your balance is empty or too low. Top up in the portal, then try again.
Claude doesn't use MyArchitectAI	Mention it by name, like "Use MyArchitectAI to render this." Also check the connector is turned on in the chat's tools menu.
"Image can't be read"	Make sure the link is public and points directly to an image file, not a web page.
Animation seems stuck	Animations take up to 90 seconds. Wait before retrying so you aren't charged twice.
Sign-in or permission errors	Go to Settings > Connectors, disconnect MyArchitectAI, then connect again.

Disconnecting: go to Settings > Connectors, open MyArchitectAI, and click Disconnect.
